The Web Smart Managed Media Converter is designed to make conversion between 10/100/1000Base-T and 100M/1000Base-X, IEEE802.3ah OAM compliant copper to fiber Gigabit Ethernet solution. Network administrator can monitor, configure and control the activity of each 802.3ah series card and remotely connected OAM compliant converter via SNMP and Web based management. Converter settings include band-width control, duplex, and speed configuration, VLAN tagging and limited Q-in-Q support. When used as stand-alone converter, it can be managed by a friendly Web Smart user interface via any web browser.

Steps
1. Use a CAT5 UTP cable to connect port of Ethernet device to the DATA IN port
2. Connect AC cable with Injector and Socket
3. Connect the PoE OUT port to a PD with CAT5 UTP cable

Note: It is recommended to use CAT5E/CAT6 or better Ethernet cables for 2.5 Gigabit networks, as the quality of the cables can affect transmission speed and quality
